What is the role of the staff employed by the NCTN?

The NCTN Development Officers are employed to provide support in establishment of networked and local training opportunities, networked and local educational activities as well as support to expanding research opportunities.  There is an NCTN Development Officer employed in Cairns, Townsville and Mackay.

What are the clinical deans employed to do?

The Clinical Dean’s role includes promoting and advocating for the NCTN in their specific locations. They will additionally be involved in networking development of medical education, training and research opportunities across northern Australia  in association with their development officer.
